There are many things I want to know about my topic, but the biggest question I have is “Why is the world cup every four years?” I think that the World Cup brings nations together so, I would think they would have World Cups more often because then the nations would get really close. Another question I have is “How does the World Cup affect the economy in the country it is being held in?” I think that this question will tie into the first one I have. I want to know if the World Cup being held in your country is a good or bad thing on the economy. “How do you think the World Cup affects politics?” The World Cup couldn’t bring nations together without politics involved, so I want to find out if it affects politics in a good or a bad way. “Is there more or less tourism in the country after the World Cup is over?” I feel that the tourism could go up or down depending on the people’s reaction about the country, so I want to know what the statistics are about this. “Does the World Cup bring the people of all the different countries together more because they are meeting each other and interacting with one another?” I don’t know if the people would like each other or dislike each other more after this, so I want to figure out which one it does. Last but not least, “How do the thirty-two teams that play in the World Cup qualify for it?”

What I Already Know About My Topic
Every four years thirty two teams come together to face off in the biggest soccer tournament ever-The World Cup. The teams that play in The World Cup and lose are kicked out of the tournament, while the teams that win fight through until the end. When it comes down to the final two teams, the tension rises and emotions go crazy. The team that wins the World Cup look like the happiest people in the world, and the country that won is so proud of the team. It brings thousands of people together from around the world that share a passion for the same sport. It makes the economy a lot better where the World Cup is being held because of all the people that are visiting pay money to watch the greatest games of soccer ever played. My step dad introduced me to The World Cup in 2006 when it was on TV. I was immediately attracted to The World Cup because soccer is my passion. Everything that I know I have learned from watching the World Cup on TV.
